Now this is some interesting ish, I don’t know if I know quite what to make of it. I originally thought of this old school Public Enemy joint, but of course chuck and I are looking at two totally different contexts, it’s Jesse that expresses my precise sentiments. Anybody else know what’s going on?

This is the future according to Microsoft. I saw this video over at Gottabemobile.com, I have to say the future look pretty cool and touch-sensitive. Microsoft is confident the slate-form factor will eventually dominate. It still baffles me why people haven’t caught on to tablet pc’s.  It is funny how people see me with the various tablets I have had and say “wow, that’s so cool what’s that?” But still go out and buy laptops. Anyway, I can’t wait till tomorrow.

House Lifts Cuban American Family Travel Restrictions

February 25, 2009 – Washington, DC – Congressman José E. Serrano announced that his provisions loosening restrictions on Cuban American family travel were included in the FY 2009 Omnibus Appropriations bill that passed the House today. Serrano chairs the House Appropriations Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee, which oversees the budget of the Treasury Department, enforcer of the Cuba travel ban.

“Today, in an act of compassion, the House voted in favor of allowing Cuban Americans to visit their families,” said Congressman Serrano. “The Bush Administration tightened the limits on family travel to a degree that virtually no one could support and maintained it in the face of strong opposition. This change has been a long time coming.”

Serrano’s language will allow Cuban Americans to:

* Visit once per year for as long as they choose;
* Visit cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles, in addition to parents, grandparents, children and siblings;
* Spend up to $179 per day while in Cuba

The language also eased restrictions on travel for the sale of agricultural goods, and reversed the “cash-before-shipping” restrictions of the Bush years.

“Families and farmers will be happy with the changes that the House passed today,” added Serrano. “But all Americans should feel proud that the legislative body that should most closely represent them took a step toward the easing of the unpopular Cuba embargo. More importantly, they should be proud because we removed inhumane restrictions on separated families.”

“Stick Up Kids is Out to Tax”

Stop, thief!

I was robbed again, almost. We have been robbed twice in the last six months, yet the thief has hardly taken anything. The first time the culprit took my gateway tablet PC, sansa e280, my livescribe pen; and a nice laptop bag.   But he left TV’s, desktop computers, a projector, dvd’s, digital camera’s, and cash money. The second time he broke in he trusted a bedroom looking for something, I have no idea what. The police said he had to be an amateur in and probably a young kid.  Well sure enough the police were right because the kid tried to break in today, but I surprised him.  I yelled out the back window just as he was trying to break into the backdoor. He couldn’t have been older than 18. I scared him witless and called PO-PO.   The thing is I recognize the kid, he lives like six doors up from us I think so the prospects of catching this kid are good according the Police. I guess the third tine is the charm.

After little dude took off down the alley behind our house. I thought about an old Gangstarr joint from back in the day called “Just to Get a Rep”

livescribe: Welcome to the future of pen and paper

Livescribe :: Sneak Peek
Yo this thing has got me so geeked I don’t know what to do. I can not wait till the end of the year to get on of these. With this thing I wont have to get such an expensive tablet pc. In fact, if I was a student, I wouldn’t even carry around a Laptop to my classes anymore, this changes the game quite a bit.
